Steve Nycholat, MBA, RFT - CEO

Specializing in Business Administration, Forestry, Timber Valuation & Log Scaling, Steve is a graduate of the Masters of Business Administration program at the University of Northern BC and the Forest Technology Program at the College of New Caledonia. Steve was one of the first employees to join TDB and the longest serving partner in the firm, gaining experience in completing all field and office phases of cruising, layout, waste & residue, and scaling before he assumed the role of General Manager. Steve believes that for any company to excel they must be willing to grow and develop, not only within their sector of work, but in new sectors.   

Wade Sjodin, RFT - Director of Operations

Specializing in Forestry, Energy Utilities & Road Designs, Wade has been with TDB since 1989. Throughout his years with TDB Wade was involved in various disciplines of forestry, specializing in multiphase projects, appraisal analysis, layout of cable ground, high-lead and helicopter harvesting systems. With over 20 years of hands-on-experience, in many different areas of forestry and resource management, Wade is suitably placed to help drive the company’s future into new markets and expand its services.

Robert Kragt  - Director of Marketing and Sales, Geomatics

Specializing in Photogrammetry, Geomatics & Marketing, Rob is a graduate of the Forest Technology Program at the College of New Caledonia, and a graduate of Photogrammetry at BC Institute of Technology. Rob directly supervises all aspects of Photogrammetry and Geomatics as well as Marketing and Sales at TDB. Rob excels in managing large scale projects from planning to implementation utilizing the latest in technology and software including LiDAR, Aerial Photography and Remote Sensing and GIS to produce high quality mapping products.

Tim Nowe, CPM, CRM, RFT, ATE - Director of Project and Asset Managment

Specializing in Project Management, Forestry, Engineering & Energy Exploration, Tim came to TDB after several years of a military background and a certificate in Project Management from the University of Northern BC. Through miliitary training and academic excellence Tim has develop the skill sets that have helped in administrating and directing large scale projects. Through effective management strategies and innovation, Tim has continued to develop new opportunities for TDB.

Dick Mynen - Director of Strategic Development

Specializing in Business Development, Geomatics, GIS, Surveying & Carbon Modeling, Dick is taking his Masters of Business Administration, a graduate from the Alberta Institute of Technology in Photogrammetry and also a graduate of Advanced GIS from the College of New Caledonia. Dick has a prominent role in TDB’s development process, identifying new market and clientele well providing technical support to various sectors of the company. Dick is active in various TDB partnerships and interests including Borealis Carbon Offsets Ltd., the Northern Resource Solutions Group and CNRG International.
