Civil Engineering Technologist - Engineering Department

TDB Consultants Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time Civil Engineering Technologist in its Engineering Department for work in Prince George and surrounding areas. The Engineering Technologist will report directly to the Engineering Manager. This position will include a mix between field engineering, planning and drafting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Technical Diploma in Engineering, Surveying, Geosciences, Forestry or a related field 
• Working towards or completion of a releveant professional designation such as ASct, EIT, FIT, GIT or RPF would be considered an asset
• Skill and experience in the resource sector would be considered an asset.
• Valid class 5 drivers license

Key Responsibilities:

1. Field Engineering:
   • Total station and RTK site plan surveys
   • Resource sector and municipal construction works-coordination and supervision
   • Resource road and bridge engineering
   • Client liaison
   • Assit operational crews on an as needed basis
2. Planning and Drafting:
   • Resource road development planning
   • Stream crossing design
   • Forest hydrology
   • Geometric road design and analysis
